The Apple Orchard

Last month I chaperoned Victoria's field trip to the Pine Tree Apple Orchard. (Don't worry Marv, I took .5 day discretionary)  I love to see her in her very own world.  It was a beautiful day.  It was extra fun because Victoria's friend Jenna is in her class so Laura chaperoned also.

Notice the 3 legged ladder.  Learning how to pick apples.
Can you see V crouched down by the apples?

Where are those Honey Crisp Apples??

Watching a slide show that's about as old as I am.

Watching the apples get washed.

Victoria & Jenna

Grandma Jeanne is the lucky chaperone for Victoria's next field trip!
They're going to Tamarack Nature Center this Wednesday.

The Fire Station

A few Sundays back our local fire station had an open house.  As soon as we got home from Sunday School we grabbed our fire hats and walked up the block.  Christian loves fire trucks and was really looking forward to this event.  However, in his regular fashion, when he's really excited he gets overwhelmed and seems very shy and even non interested.  Victoria enjoyed all aspects to the fullest though.

Mister Serious

He loosened up after a few minutes on the jumpy.
This is the picture I used for the thank you to the fire fighters.

Victoria shot the water.  However, lil' bro was having none of it.

They also had hotdogs and cake.  Christian enjoyed this part very much.

I Love You More Than. . .

Yesterday after school Victoria and I were cuddling on the couch.  She looked up at me and said, "I really missed you while you were gone.  I realized I love you more than pancakes and maple syrup."  Then she laid her little head back down.

Just Got Home

Back from an amazing vacation.  Three suitcases unpacked.  Laundry in the washer.  Things put away.  Piles of souveniers everywhere.  350 pictures uploading. Now I have to (somehow) fall asleep. . .because I can't wait for a couple of cuties to come and cuddle with me very early in the morning.
